Andreas Gebhard is a German entrepreneur.

He is co-founder and CEO of re:publica, the largest international conference for ideas and all things digital society, which takes place annually in Berlin.

Throughout his life he has been interested in topics like digital sovereignty and Open Source movements. He remains highly interested in promising projects in these areas.

Broadly speaking, he considers himself an enabler in the most positive sense of the word: he aims to enable people to realize their ideas, especially when there’s a wider societal benefit to be achieved.

Together with his wife, the curator Laura Bernhardt, and their two children he resides Berlin.
